Being a

Leader

Congrats on making it out of training and wanting to build your tribe! Bringing together a group of women all with the same goal can be such a rewarding experience and is one of my favorite parts of being a Seint artist!

What to expect

Being a leader can be rewarding, challenging, and bring happiness to others’ lives! It means extra responsibility, time, and effort. It’s a chance to get creative and expand your business in new ways you would never get to if you just went at it alone! Your example as a leader is cementing how the girls under you will treat the girls under them. They will emulate you as a leader, building a strong team starts with you!

*Signing someone to your downline without knowing if they would be a good fit, or no intention of helping them through the process or building a relationship with them isn’t going to contribute to your team. The compensation plan does not pay for just signing someone to be an artist. That person has to be successful in order for you to see any benefit from it financially. The Compensation plan actually rewards you for keeping your artists. You get paid 5-7% CV extra on artists you personally sign up.

Team Meetings

Let’s get together, ya ya ya

Meetings don’t have to be long, boring, or held in a conference room! Spending a little time together to check in and see how everyone is doing can be so beneficial. This can be done in person, online, video skype calls, or even over a text thread. I recommend trying to have a team meeting at least once a month, and have your artists come prepared with questions, concerns, ideas, or just share!

If a question or topic is taking too long, feel free to let them know the discussion can be continued with you personally outside of the meeting, or continued with everyone over your team Facebook group. Being respectful of everyone’s time is crucial to a successful meeting!

One on One’s

me and you, and you and me

Staying in close contact with your team members is so important for their success. When an artist joins your tribe she is a part of your family now! She needs to be heard and know that you are there for her as she grows her business. I recommend doing a one-on-one with each of your artists at least every other month.

When visiting with your team members, it’s good to see where they are in terms of what their goals are as a Seint Artist. It’s good to come back to asking them “What’s Your Why?” and make sure they are on a path to achieve their goals or if their goals have changed.

Team Parties!

Everybody dance now

Seint isn’t all business, having fun is a huge part of being a Seint Artist! You and your team are all women working together and that’s a huge reason to celebrate in it’s own. In-person parties are amazing but online parties work too! Take time for games, good food, dancing, celebrating each other, and talking about goals you have for the future!

I recommend trying to have a team party at least once a year, but there’s no such thing as too many parties!✨

Celebrate Victories

Even the little ones

If your team isn’t celebrating their victories, their work can feel like one big run on sentence. Encourage your team to have small goals and take time to celebrate when they’ve achieved them! It doesn’t have to be big, it can be they allow themselves a day off, take time for a cookie shop run, or even a guilty pleasure splurge.

For bigger goals, you can incentivize your team! This can be as simple as recognizing their achievement within the group, buying them lunch, or some leaders even go extravagant for big team goals like cruise trips!

Encourage Sharing

we’re all in this together

Sharing is caring! If you cultivate an environment where all your team members are sharing with each other, good ideas will circulate and spark more ideas along the way! Encourage them to share what’s working for them, success stories, content they’ve created, and answer each others’ questions.

Have them share with you what would help them be more successful. It’s also important to share what’s not working, and what could be improved!

Team Recognition!

moment in the spotlight

There is always a reason to recognize each member of your team! Recognition helps people be happy with their business, encourages them to keep going, and feel valued and appreciated by everyone on the team! It’s also a great incentive to hit goals and increase engagement! Get creative and genuine with how you recognize your team members.

I recommend formally recognizing your team members at least once a year, but having small recognitions every month could go a long way!

Top Leader

Compensation

On top of your regular compensation through your team, making it to the top ranks in Seint makes you eligible for the personal leader and generational bonus! If you build a strong team with strong leaders, Seint recognizes that and compensates you even further. This is why it’s so important to build strong and think quality over quantity. This video goes over how the bonus works:
