Eyes & Brows

Best part about Seint shadows? Building your own palette! It’s like getting a bag of starbursts full of pinks and reds. All the good stuff, no disappointments.

eyeshadow basics

Prep

Always prep eyeshadow areas (lids, undereyes, brows) with stay spray. You can sponge on with perfector and dab on. Then apply a light coat of iiid cream color to lid, this helps eyeshadows goes on true to color and makes your application last all day!

Light to Dark

You can use any colors on any eye, but a good place to start is complimentary colors. Pick a color thats opposite on the color wheel from their eye color and start with your lightest color and work your way to darker colors.

Blend.

The eyeshadows are highly pigmented so a little goes a long way! Hold your brush back and use a soft hand. Keep layering instead of starting off intense, you can always add more! Then blend blend blend until your dead.

Complimentary colors

Best way to get those baby blues/browns/greens to pop? Use the complimentary color! Complimentary colors are those colors that are directly across from each other on the color wheel. Being an opposite color gives the two colors the most contrast making your eye color pop and seem even more colorful!

Bigger eyes

Think of eye shadow like curtains and the eyes like a window. When you’re hanging curtains, if you hang your curtains inside your window it can make your window feel small. If you hang your curtains outside the window it makes the window appear bigger than it actually is.

Same goes for eyeshadow! When applying shadow, go out a little further than you think you ought to and you’ll get more bang for your buck! It’s like a snapchat filter in real life!

Using a

Soft Hand

Seint eyeshadows are highly pigmented making them last a long time! This also means that less is more, you only have to use a small amount to get amazing color. Start by holding your brush back further, apply to lids with a soft tapping motion and then blend.

Tips &

Tricks

  • Fallout? Try applying eyeshadow before foundation, or use a paper towel or a sticky note to catch any falling shadow.
  • For switching between colors, I recommend using the Brush Cleaning Tile
  • Use a light hand to pick up shadow, try blowing on the brush or tapping off the excess before applying to lids.
